Mistakes New Homeowners Make

You’d be surprised how many people don’t get an inspector to come when they’re buying a new home. While the first inclination may be that new homes don’t require the thorough once-over needed or recommended on older homes, think again. Inspectors can uncover otherwise unapparent items such as furnaces that aren’t vented properly or slow-leaking plumbing.

If you're considering buying a new home, or having one built, don't make this monumental mistake. Go ahead and hire a home inspector. It will be money well spent. Even if they don't find anything major (and you certainly hope they don't), the cost of the inspection will more than pay for itself in the peace of mind you get in knowing your new home is safe and sound.
